American Racer Cup Challenge Event – Insinger Performance North Region

Weights:
All Modifieds must weigh a minimum of 2,400 lbs.  

*All weights are track scale pounds; weights are taken post-race, with the driver in the car *No all-aluminum small-blocks
 
Tire Options (must be purpose-build dirt Modified tire – no specialty or Late Model tires):
Right-Rear: American Racer 48 compound or harder (any track/series stamp)

Left-Rear: American Racer 44 compound or harder (any track/series stamp)

Right-Front: American Racer 33 compound or harder (any track/series stamp)

Left-Front: American Racer 33 compound or harder (any track/series stamp)          

Body Rules:
Sail panels are permitted for this event. Sail panels must be no taller than 65 inches when measured from the ground. Sail panels mirror each other in size and shape side-for-side. They must extend no further forward than the rear of the driver’s seat and no further back than the end of the quarter-panel. Angled spoiler is permitted on the rear of the roof: no taller than four inches. All other standard STSS body rules remain in effect. 

Qualifying:
Heat-race lineups will be determined via a draw for position. Top qualifiers will transfer to the redraw; other remaining qualifiers go to the main event.  Consolations, with top finishers transferring, will set the remainder of the 24-car base starting field.  Heats and consolations are 10 laps in distance.

For general and safety rules, reference the STSS Standard Operating Procedures. 

One-way radios are mandatory. The frequency is 454.000.

TRANSPONDERS ARE MANDATORY AT THIS EVENT. 

 
Sportsman

25 green-flag laps, $1,000 to win, $100 to start

Race No. 3 of the Bob Hilbert Sportswear Short Track Super Series Fueled By VP Open Sportsman circuit 

Weight:
Open Sportsman (two-barrel carburetor): 2,400 lbs.

Crate 602 Sportsman (unaltered with four-barrel carburetor): 2,350 lbs. 

*All weights are track scale pounds; weights are taken post-race, with the driver in the car Rev chip not mandatory on Crate 602 engines. No gear rule. 

Tire Options (must be purpose-build dirt Modified tire – no specialty or Late Model tires):
Right-Rear: American Racer 48 compound or harder (any track/series stamp)

Left-Rear: American Racer 44 compound or harder (any track/series stamp)

Right-Front: American Racer 33 compound or harder (any track/series stamp)

Left-Front: American Racer 33 compound or harder (any track/series stamp)          

Body Rules:
Standard body rules will be in effect per the STSS/Accord Speedway rule book. No sail panels, high doors or other deviations. 

Qualifying:
Heat-race lineups will be determined via a draw for position. Top qualifiers will transfer to the redraw; other remaining qualifiers go to the main event.  Consolations, with top finishers transferring, will set the remainder of the 24-car base starting field.  Heats and consolations are 8 laps in distance. Provisional starters, the two highest in points unable to qualify, will fill the field.

Allstar Slingshot

20 laps, $300 to win, $50 to start

General Rules:
Standard Speedway Entertainment rules will be enforced.  

Qualifying:
Slingshot heat lineups will be determined by a draw for position, with a head’s-up start for the feature. Heats and consolations are 6 laps. 

One-way radios are highly recommended. The frequency is 454.000.

TRANSPONDERS ARE MANDATORY AT THIS EVENT.
