“The Statesman” Jerry Higbie

After an incredible 2009 racing season that saw him capture the Accord Speedway Modified title for the second time in his career, “The Statesman” Jerry Higbie is busily preparing for a 2010 racing schedule that will find him returning to the Ulster County speedplant in hopes of capturing a second straight title. Higbie will return with much the same arsenal as he did a year ago for after a mid-season pairing with the New Jersey based car owner MIke Petruska and his Atlas Paving sponsored number 66 Teo/JPM race car, the team clicked immediately and Higbie went on to great success, capturing the Joe Winne Memorial race as well as the season ending King of the Catskills Modified events at Accord.
