A beautiful fall harvest weekend in the greater Hudson Valley provided the backdrop for the ninth annual Accord Speedway Banquet and Awards ceremony on Saturday evening for the speedway. The grand ballroom of the Hudson Valley Resort located in Kerhonkson, New York provided the perfect setting for the annual event as the Palmer family completed another successful racing season at their quarter mile speedplant nestled in the Catskilll Mountains. The date of November 7th has been set in place as the Accord Speedway prepares for it’s ninth annual awards banquet since the track has been under the direction of the Palmer family. The top fifteen competitors in each of the Friday night stock car divisions and the top five from the Wednesday night Midweek Madness divisions will join together to celebrate their successful season for the speedway’s final event of the 2009 racing season.
