The cool breezes of autumn swirled across the grounds of the Accord Speedway on Saturday as the Palmer Family hosted the Wreckage in the Catskills event in what would be the final program for big car divisions for the 2009 racing season at the speedway. The date of November 7th has been set aside as the Accord Speedway prepares for it’s ninth annual awards banquet since the track has been under the direction of the Palmer family. The top fifteen competitors in each of the Friday night stock car divisions and the top five finishers from the Wednesday night Midweek Madness divisions will join together to celebrate the end of the season in the speedway’s final event of the 2009 racing season.
