Accord Speedway Closes Out Big Car Divisions In 2009 With Wreckage In The Catskills

The cool breezes of autumn swirled across the grounds of the Accord Speedway on Saturday as the Palmer Family hosted the Wreckage in the Catskills event in what would be the final program for big car divisions for the 2009 racing season at the speedway. The warm sunshine and more than 120 anxious competitors converged on the Ulster County speedplant and along with them came a huge crowd of racing fans seeking to view another great racing show at the speedway. Accord Speedway Awards Banquet Set In Place For November 7th At Hudson Valley Resort

The date of November 7th has been set aside as the Accord Speedway prepares for it’s ninth annual awards banquet since the track has been under the direction of the Palmer family. The top fifteen competitors in each of the Friday night stock car divisions and the top five finishers from the Wednesday night Midweek Madness divisions will join together to celebrate the end of the season in the speedway’s final event of the 2009 racing season. Accord Speedway’s Wreckage In The Catskills Offers Racing Fans A Diverse Day Of Racing Excitement On October 10th

The Accord Speedway King of the Catskills weekend was based on all-out speed at Gary Palmer’s Ulster County speedplant two weeks ago, but this coming Saturday, October 10th, a diverse schedule of racing events will greet the racing fans as the final events of the 2009 season wind down in the next few weeks at the speedway.
