No Mercy As Accord Speedway Suffers Ninth Cancellation In 2009 Racing Season

With rain being listed as the top natural resource in the Hudson Valley in 2009, the impending poor weather forecast for this evening will once keep the gates closed at the Accord Speedway tonight. Accord Speedway Midweek Madness Program Falls To Rain

With Mother Nature continuing to take up residence in the greater Hudson Valley, Promoter Gary Palmer has cancelled the Wednesday night racing action scheduled for the Accord Speedway tonight. The Midweek Madness programs have enjoyed a solid seven week run thus far in the season and this will be only the second rainout of the season for the small car divisions at the speedway. A quick hitting powerful storm pounded the Accord Speedway at 6 PM on Friday evening and was followed by another storm on top of that one to end all hopes of going racing last evening at the Accord Speedway.
