<div><span style="font-family: Arial;">In a 2010 racing season that has enjoyed one great race after another, the Accord Speedway rolled on with it&#8217;s 18th show of the season on Friday evening and the racing once again proved to add to the luster of just how the great racing action is at the Palmer Family&#8217;s &#8220;Gem in the Catskills&#8221;.<span id="more-1598"></span> Blessed with a great field of race cars and extraordinary drivers, the equally as great fan base at the speedway was treated to another night of racing excitement that was enhanced by the the Eastern States Qualifying event for the Modifieds on an evening where the headline sponsors for the event were B Millen &amp; Sons Recycling and the Orange County Fair Speedway. </span></div>
<div><span style="font-family: Arial;">Bloomingburg, New York modified residents Mel Schrufer and Jimmy Johnson brought the 25-car VP Fuels/Rhinebeck Ford Modified field down for the start of the 30-lap encounter. Schrufer won the drag race off of the line and Johnson went to the shelf as the veteran campaigners brought the crowd to their feet right away with some side by side action with third place man Rick Wegner looking to make it three wide. Schrufer won the battle and eased his way forward from the pair of big block cars of Johnson and Wegner. Schrufer would build up a lead of four car lengths and then bobbled off of turn two to allow both Johnson and Wegner to close in on him.</span></div>
<div><span style="font-family: Arial;">Racing at mid-pack caught the fancy of the crowd as land clearing and great steering brought forward the Accord driving stars who started back in the pack. Danny Tyler showed some power from the top of the raceway as did Ronnie Johnson but on the move and doing it quickly was Jerry Higbie. Rolling forward from 14th place on the starting grid, Higbie was hands up on the wheel and finding all of the multiple working lanes of the raceway to his liking and he sliced and diced his way into contention. Not to be outdone, Mike Ricci from 15th, Jeff Heotzler from 16th and Andy Bachetti from 18th were working their magic on the smooth as silk racetrack. Higbie made quick work of Wegner and Johnson to seize the runner-up slot and on lap-17 found the muscle and hustle to drive by Schrufer on the bottom of turn two to take control of the point. </span></div>
<div><span style="font-family: Arial;">Once in front, Higbie drove out to a big lead but &#8220;The Jeffer&#8221; had thoughts of his own as his big block powered rocket was getting faster by the lap and he used the same hot lanes to drive his way into the runnerup slot late in the race. Heotzler, who has taken many a tour around the Accord facility, enjoyed a great outing as he followed Higbie across the line and Mel Schrufer was solid in his run for third place. Andy Bachetti and Mike Ricci both used all of the laps to gain spots and complete the top five. Rick Wegner, Jimmy Johnson, Danny Tyler, John Ferrier and Richie Eurich completed the top ten finishers. With the win, Higbie merely has to start next week&#8217;s feature to reign as the track champion for the second consecutive season. Heotzler will earn the guaranteed spot for the Eastern States 200 since Higbie had earned a spot previously. </span></div>
<div><span style="font-family: Arial;">Connecticut talent John Sundlof returned to his PMC chassied mount two weeks ago and the race car and driver responded well as Sundlof seized control of the event at the drop of the green flag and proceeded to wire the field for his first win of the year in the Spec Sportsman ranks. Danny Cross stayed close throughout to gain a strong second place finish and the veteran Phil Recchio was third. Chris Stevens raced to fourth place and Kyle Rohner raced from 14th starting spot to claim a top five run. Rohner too will just have to take the green flag next week in the feature event to claim the Spec Sportsman title.</span></div>
<div><span style="font-family: Arial;">The &#8220;Pocket Rocket&#8221; Randy Green led the early laps of the Pure Stock encounter and when problems slowed his pace, veteran wheelman Ray Tarantino took over the lead and went on to capture his third event of the 2010 racing season. Kyle Wright was the runnerup in a great run to bolster his chances at claiming a speedway title and Paul Aragon enjoyed a great run to finish in third place. Tim Brown, who has been a pleasant surprise in his initial season, was fourth and Phil Johnson completed the top five.</span></div>
<div><span style="font-family: Arial;">Souther Tier veteran Jimmy Sykes has made the Accord Speedway his home track in 2010 and was hoping to find his way into victory lane during the season. A few weeks ago after leading for 18-laps, Sykes car began to overheat and Sykes slid in his own water bringing the car to a near stop and allowing the field to shuffle him back to a third place finish. Sykes took no prisoners on Friday night as he led from bell to bell to lay claim to his first career win at the speedway. John Roese kept his title hopes alive with a solid drive from 8th starting place to finish in the runner-up role. Torin Betterton was third with John Rood and Ralph Ronk filling out the top five. The Cargain-Roese battle for the title will be settled next Friday evening. </span></div>
<div><span style="font-family: Arial;">Ralph Utter took over the lead on lap-2 from Will Casazza and appeared to be on this way to another victory at the speedway until losing the handle and spinning out. Scott Goodrch inherited the lead and led the remaining laps to claim the win over Casazza with Mark Taylor in third place, Dale Friedly in fourth and Utter rallying back to complete the top five.</span></div>
<div><span style="font-family: Arial;">The Camper&#8217;s Barn Sportsman event proved to be the Anthony Perrego Show as the teenager took advantage of the pole start and proceeded to check out on the field at the drop of the green flag to easily win the 25-lap main event for the Sportsman. &#8220;Buckshot&#8221; Mike Barrett peddled hard from 8th starting position to chase Perrego across the line. Jeff Hulseapple was third with Brian Krummel in fourth and Ray See completing the top five. Mike Ruggiero, Kenny Ferrier, Da</span><span style="font-family: Arial;">rrell Ford, David Coene and Dave Werber completed the top ten. The Sportsman title will go to the final next week at the speedway.</span></div>
<div><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: medium;"><strong>MUDPLUGS: </strong></span></div>
<div><strong> </strong></div>
<div><span style="font-family: Arial;">Joe Barbagallo made his first appearance to the speedway in some time but didn&#8217;t make the feature transfer in his Escape RV sponsored buggy. Hank Morin  returned to racing after missing a couple of weeks in the former crazy eyes car. Pat Zimmer was back in action and was 6th in the Pro Stock feature. Emerson Cargain had a tough outing that saw him finish in 9th place and lose many points heading into next week&#8217;s showdown with John Roese. Peter Dance continues to be plagued with problems on his Brownie&#8217;s Towing Lightning Sprint. RJ Smith was back in the second Hentschel machine and Phil Goetschius and Jason Tompkins were both back behind trhe wheel in Sportsman action. The Sherlock Team had a car in the house for Danny Johnson to steer but the Doctor made a wrong turn and was found racing in Brewerton. Mark Pullen returned to the speedway after sitting out a couple of weeks.</span></div>
<div><span style="font-family: Arial;">Heat winners included Jimmy Johnson, Rick Wegner, Danny Creeden and David Bush in the 31-car field of Modifieds with Vinny DeCicco capturing the Consolation event and Geoff Quackenbush capturing the B-Main. Danny Cross, Ken Boniface and Tommy Johnson captured the Spec Sportsman heats. Ken Ferrier, Brian Krummel and Jeff Hulseapple were the heat winners for the Sportsman division. Gary Ronk and Tim Brown were the victors in the two Pure Stock heats.</span></div>
<div><span style="font-family: Arial;">The track was once again in fabulous condition for the evening and again could be raced from wall to wall. The three and four wide racing action in the divisions has brought in many new fans throughout the season from the Capital district as well as Pennsylvania. New Egypt Speedway General Manager Dany Serrano was back to visit Accord and brought with him some passes for give-a-ways and Darlene Kerr received a pair for knowing that Security Man Russ Meyer captured his first feature event in 1952 running at the famed Hincliffe Stadium in Paterson, New Jersey. OCFS General Manager Ken Sands was on hand for the evening and interviewed before the running of the sportsman feature event.</span></div>
<div><span style="font-family: Arial;">Once again Pulled Pork Sandwiches were the specialty on the menu and just as quickly were sold out before intermission hit. </span></div>
<div><span style="font-family: Arial;">The Qualifier for the Short Track SuperNationals is in place for next week&#8217;s September 10th show to be held in October at the Five Mile Point Speedway. The Accord Speedway has cancelled the Midweek Madness Supernationals event scheduled for September 18th. </span></div>

Round eight and the final round of the Accord Speedway Midweek Madness program came off to a successful conclusion on Wednesday evening as beautiful warm weather greeted another nice crowd on hand to witness the exciting racing action that included the first look-see at the Northeast Legend Series race cars taking to the high banks of the pristine quarter mile speedplant. <span id="more-1594"></span>The entertaining show paced through the evening quickly and was completed by 10:05 PM, and it gave some of the Friday night regulars a chance to shake down their race cars as the season draws to a close and the point chases still going strong. Promoter Gary Palmer continues to work his magic with the raceway that was once again smooth from top to bottom as the fans saw some great competitive racing action in all of the divisions at the race to the walls facility.</span></div>
<div><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: x-small;">Excellent heat racing action carried over to the running of the feature attractions. The 0-50 Quad action had four year old Kenny Phillips blasting off to a great start as he led the first couple of laps of the feature event from the top side of the sppedway before yielding to Kayin Greer who found the basement side of the raceway much to his liking. Greer, once in front, carved out a good line and raced on to victory despite a late charge from newcomer Trevor Tufano. Dominic Lyons raced to third place with Kenny Phillips in fourth and Joey Rosploch and Joey Hundeland completing the top six finishers. The 51-90 Quads followed and the feature action got off to a rousing start with Zoe Lyons grabbing the lead at the start and leading the first two turns before giving way to Griffin Robertson. Robertson led the first lap but lost the lead in turn one to the &#8220;Little Torch&#8221; Melissa Torchio. Torchio used the top of the raceway to seize control of the lead but lost the handle in turn three and found herself upside down and bringing a halt to the action. Torchio was unhurt in the tip-over and resumed racing action. On the restart it was Robertson outfront with Torchio showing no fear and powering to the top of the raceway and finding her way to the front once again and go on to record another win at the speedway. Robertson was the runner-up spot with Lyons in third place in the heated competition. </span></div>
<div><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: x-small;">Jonathan Arturi returned to action and captured the Kid&#8217;s Kart main event. Chad Cooper was victorious in Kart racing action over Steve Cooper and Jared Miller. Stan Vishinski claimed a win in his class as did Gary Huston who found his way to victory lane with another win over Randy Brundage in the Heavy class. Steve Reynolds made his first Accord appearance a successful one as he won the Lights class over Emily Huston and Chris Predmore. The Wedge karts had Gary O&#8217;Brien Sr capturing the win over Gary O&#8217;Brien Jr with Allan Accaro in third place.</span></div>
<div><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: x-small;">TT Quad action was exciting from start to finish as Tony Jarvis grabbed the lead at the start of the event and held the lead until Brandon Gates made an exciting pass in the chicane area to take control of the event. The next lap through through found Andy Sier working the inner loop to perfection as he drove by Brandon Gates to seize control of the point. The two Quad riders enjoyed a spirited battle until Gates went into a half spin and allowed Sier to move out to a safe lead and go on and claim the win in another exciting TT Quad event. Gates was the runner-up with Jarvis in third place and Craig Smith in fourth. The Sportsman Quad action featured some tight competition with Andy Sier capturing the win over Brandon Gates with Brian Demarmels, Tony Jarvis and Craig Smith following. Michael Kostos captured his fourth straight win in the Open Beginners Quad action with a win over Paul Delgay. Sebastian Dwork returned to the speedway to claim a win in the 250 AM/Open division. The Open Expert division had Sportsman racer Dany Cross returning to Quad racing and claiming a win over Andy Sier, Brandon Gates, Brian Demarmels and Craig Smith. In the Blaster Quads Brian Garvilla drove to victory over George Miller.</span></div>
<div><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: x-small;">Garden Stater Jimmy Babb found the fast-line at the start of the event and powered his way to another tough victory over Tyler Pirone in the Regular Slingshots. The win was the fourth victory in a row for the Garden Stater in his Coyote Modular homes sponsored mount. </span><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: x-small;">The Junior Slingshot feature proved to be another exciting event as Michelle Campbell got out of shape coming down for the start of the event and drove up into Matthew Gaughan, slowing down both cars and allowing the front row starters Jesse Leiby and Tyler Dippel to power away and begin their own tug of war for superiority. Both young warriors flirted with the top side of the raceway and drove down to the bottom to find the fast line as neither driver was willing to yield an inch on the fast real estate provided to them. In the end it was the defending track champion Leiby grabbing the checkered flag with Dippel in for the runner-up role. Tommy Zwart raced to a solid third place finish with Campbell in fourth and Gaughan completing the top five. Jimmy Leiby powered to victory in the Rookie Slingshot division with Collin Dubois in the runner-up role.</span></div>
<div><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: x-small;">The Northeast Legends racing series made their first stop to the high banks of the Accord facility and while most of the drivers enjoyed mostly pavement racing experience in their past, quickly found the speedway to their liking and put on a great show in their first visit to the speedway. Todd McCollum made the trip up from Manville, New Jersey and did use his past dirt driving experience to his advantage as he dominated the racing action from start to finish as he blistered the speedway with quick times and captured the feature win. Parkville, New York resident Johnny Demarmels was the runner-up in the Joe Graf owned hot rod with Keystone stater Dustin Kelly in third, Jason Urso in fourth, Dustin Kelly in fifth and pavement star Tony Hanbury and Long Island&#8217;s Greg DeCanio completing the event. </span></div>
<div><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: x-small;">Midweek Madness is now completed for the season. </span></div>
<div><span><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: x-small;">Friday night racing at Accord runs from April through September with six great divisions going to war on the Accord high banks. This week it is Taylor Rental Night as they headline the sponsorship night at the speedway with six great divisions as the speedway crowns all divisions champions at the Accord Speedway. The Modified feature will serve as the qualifier for the Super Nationals event that will take place at the Five Mile Point Speedway in October.<strong> </strong>Admission for a regular show to enjoy the great racing action remains the same from a season ago as Adults (12+) will be $12.00; Children (11 and under) will be $3.00. The Family Value Pack that was met with much success last season is once again offered and is: 2 Adults, 2 Children, and $20.00 in food vouchers for $40.00, a savings of $10.00 to the consumer. Pit Gates open at the speedway at 4:30 and Spectator Gates open at 5. Hot laps kick off at 6:30 and the racing is slated to start at 7 PM.</span></span></div>
<div><span><strong><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: x-small;">Tickets are now on-sale for the prestigious two day King of the Catskills event that will be held on September 24th and 25th, and will be sponsored by WLR Construction. Friday night will feature the Modifieds in action for $7,000.00 to win the 100 lap event and the Sportsman feature paying $1,000.00 to win. The Junior and Regular Slingshots will also be featured on the Friday portion of the two day spectacular. Saturday action will find the Spec Sportsman division featured with a walloping $3,500.00 payday awaiting the winner and the event will also feature the Lightning Sprints and the Pro and Pure Stock divisions to round out the exciting card.</span></strong></span></div>

<div><strong><em> </em></strong></div>
<div><span style="font-family: Arial;">The bright summer days of the summer yield to the cooler fall evenings as September approaches in the Catskill Mountains and a more picturesque scene cannot be found among the many peaks and valleys as one views the lush greenery surrounding the Ulster County landscape. <span id="more-1562"></span>The quiet serenity gives way to the sounds of fast racing cars a couple of times a week in the summer months and the great crowds of eager racing fans who flock to the action attraction on Whitfield Road and witness a great night of entertainment at the Accord Speedway and never leave the facility feeling they were short-changed by a lack of excitement as the stars and cars of the speedway have supplied all of that and more in the past seventeen weeks of racing that have taken place in 2010. As the current season hits the final stretch run, tight point battles loom and new and established stars keep emerging into the spotlight to keep the racing action and excitement in peak form every week of the season. Bloomingburg, New York hot shoe Scott Ferrier was one who gained the spotlight on Friday evening as he steered his Orange Energy sponsored hot rod past a slew of talented racers to record his first Accord Speedway win since the 2008 season.</span></div>
<div><span style="font-family: Arial;">A pair of Garden State racers out of the same stable of racing, Rick Wegner and Sean Gunther, brought the talented 26 car field of VP Fuels/Rhinebeck Ford Modifieds down for the start of the 30-lap headliner on Tom&#8217;s Repair Shop Night at the speedway. Gunter used the top side to blast away as the leader as the pair exited turn two with Wegner in tow. Jimmy Johnson jumped into the action as he slipped by Wegner with Geoff Quackenbush, Scott Ferrier and Ronnie Johnson all seeking the sweet spot of the race to the walls facility to inch their way forward. Ferrier raced by Quackenbush for fourth and maneuvered by Wegner a lap later. Two laps later he moved past Jimmy Johnson and set sail for Gunther. Lap nine found Dom Roselli backwards into the third turn Redi Rock wall and on the restart it would be Gunther and Ferrier squaring off on the double file restart.</span></div>
<div><span style="font-family: Arial;">Gunther chose to stay on the inside lane with his Sportsman motored race car for the restart and Ferrier from the outside utilized a full head of steam to grab the lead on the restart to seize the lead and quickly began to put himself into another zip code as he drove away from the field. Once the lead was established, all eyes in the grandstands moved to the center pack of hot rods as battle after battle flared up with three, four and sometimes five wide racing becoming the focus of the fans witnessing the great racing action. Jeff Richardson became a player as he moved into contention and Ronnie Johnson, who lost a couple of spots earlier, began to peddle his way forward again. Danny Creeden began his march to the front and Jerry Higbie, Andy Bachetti and first time in 2010 performer at Accord, Jeff Heotzler, all found various ways to claw their way forward in the fast moving traffic. Higbie became faster as the laps rolled on and moved into the runner-up slot late in the race. A spin by Richard Smith on lap-27 would give Higbie one final shot at Ferrier.  When the racing resumed, Ferrier had enough peddle to keep in front of Higbie and capture his first win in two seasons at Accord. Higbie was the runner-up from a 17th place start with Jeff Richardson in a great drive to third, Creeden with a solid fourth from 13th and Ronnie Johnson rallying back to complete the top five. Andy Bachetti from 16th, Jeff Heotzler from 19th, Sean Gunther, Mike Ricci, and Rick Wegner completed the top ten finishers.</span></div>
<div><span style="font-family: Arial;">Two events for the Camper&#8217;s Barn Sportsman division occured and a 120 point swing would be huge for the drivers who still had aspirations for a crown. In the continued event from a week ago, Jesse Marks picked up where he left off and led the remaining 13 laps of the event to claim his second win in 2010. Kevin Ward hustled hard to challenge but came up a bit short and settled for second place with Jeff Hulseapple in third place, and Ray See and Anthony Perrego completing the top five. Ken Ferrier, Mike Ruggiero, the much improved Sammy Call, Greg McCloskey and newcomer Mike Traver completed the top ten. </span></div>
<div><span style="font-family: Arial;">The second feature for the Sportsman was the David Coene Show as the veteran campaigner from Warwick, New York grabbed the lead from his outside pole start and drove to his third win of the 2010 racing season at Accord despite heavy challenges coming from Mike Ruggiero. Ruggiero was the runner-up with Mike Barrett continuing his great work at the speedway to record a third place finish and Greg McCloskey and Brian Krummel completing the top five. Ken Ferrier, Darrell Ford, Joe Giachinta, Ray See and Kevin Ward completed the top ten. </span></div>
<div><span style="font-family: Arial;">The Bryant&#8217;s Towing nightcap for the Pure Stocks had Gary Ronk seeking his sixth win of the season and the veteran wheel-man had things going his way up until the late stages of the event when he was forced pitside to change the right front sneaker. The twist of fate played into the hands of Ray Tarantino and he completed the event as the winner for his third triumph in 2010. Tim Brown was the runner-up in a very solid run for the first year campaigner with Kyle Wright, Phil Johnson and the &#8220;Pocket Rocket&#8221; Randy Green completing the top five and for Green just his third outing in the Pure Stock ranks.</span></div>
<div><span style="font-family: Arial;">Kyle Van Duser was solid as road cement as the &#8220;Concrete Kid&#8221; took the lead at the opening bell and proceeded to lead all laps and claim his second win </span><span style="font-family: Arial;">of the season in his rookie year in the division. Another first year campaigner Patrick Murphy, had the luck of the Irish with him as he dodged a couple of obstacles to claim the runner-up role. Ken Hinsch, Chris Stevens and Tyler Boniface completed the top five running order. </span></div>
<div><span style="font-family: Arial;">Jimmy Sykes led the first nine laps of the Pro Stock encounter but encountered a problem off of turn two that brought his machine to a near dead stop before moving forward but by the time he recovered from the incident, was fighting to remain in the top five. Emerson Cargain seized the opportunity at hand to lay claim to the number one spot and held off a late charge by the Ford powered racer of John Roese to score his 6th win of the current campaign. Roese was the runner-up to keep his title hopes alive and the returning Pat Zimmer, Bill Rion were third and fourth and the veteran Sykes held on to complete the top five. </span></div>
<div><span style="font-family: Arial;">Ralph Utter blasted out to the lead from his pole start and proceeded on to his thrid win of the season in the Lightning Sprint division. Utter also captured the $200.00 bonus prize posted by Golden Area Furniture on the night. Mark Taylor was as smooth as silk in securing the runner-up position and Matt and Doug Norrie along with Joe Szczapa completed the top five finishers.</span></div>
<div><span style="font-family: Arial;">&#8220;MVT&#8221; Mike Van Tassel went coach on Friday evening as the Hamburg, New Jersey veteran utilized a pristine 37 Ford Sedan vintage machine to regain the lead when Jake Schlagel encountered rear end problems with his racer and go one to claim the vintage race win. MVT led the first seven laps until Schlagel went by him and then re-acquired the lead when Schlagel broke. Ray See Sr, Howard Murphy, Richie Sauger and Clark Bartholomew completed the top five. </span></div>
<div><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: medium;"><strong>MUDPLUGS:</strong></span></div>
<div><strong> </strong></div>
<div><span style="font-family: Arial;">The eight feature racing program was completed just before 11PM despite starting an hour late to work the speedway into racing condition from all of the hard rain that fell early in the week and caused the cancellation of the Wednesday evening Midweek Madness Program. The copious amount of rainfall pushed the level of the retention pond onto the speedway and through the efforts of the Gary Palmer and his hard working staff and a tip of the Fedora to the Spec Sportsman and Pro Stock divisions, the track came around quickly and a great night of racing took place. The track was unbelievable throughout the evening as the drivers were able to find more bite than a junkyard dog could provide as they raced throughout the evening. </span></div>
<div><span style="font-family: Arial;">Pure Stock heats went to Gary Ronk and Ryan Johnson. Modified preliminaries were captured by Rick Wegner, Sean Gunther, Jeff Richardson and Scott Ferrier. Jamie Yannone won the Conolation event and Bobby Hentschel won the B-Main .Spec Sportsman heats were won by Phil Recchio, Chris Stevens and Danny Cross and Sportsman heats were won by Anthony Perrego, Mike Ruggiero and Greg McCloskey. Kevin Ward won the Sportsman Consolation event.</span></div>
<div><span style="font-family: Arial;">The return of &#8221;The Jeffer&#8221; Jeff Heotzler brought about a large roar from the crowd when he drove onto the speedway and the veteran racing talent showed he still knew his way around the Accord facility as indicated by his solid drive in the feature to </span><span style="font-family: Arial;">seventh place after starting in 19th. RJ Smith drove the second Hentschel machine in the Sportsman division but didn&#8217;t make the transfer into the main event. John Sundlof brought his car from a year ago but didn&#8217;t complete the feature. Pat Zimmer returned to action and it was great to see the Saugerties resident back at Accord with a great run. Rob Rowe made his return to action and was 20th in the main event that saw 20 of the 25 starters complete the entire 30 laps. Robbie Green suffered through a tough night at the speedway as he was the first retiree in the evening. Jason Tompkins was back in action and scored a 12th place finish</span></div>
<div><span style="font-family: Arial;">in the Sportsman main. Don Johnson scored two top fifteen finishes in his return to the speedway. Anthony Perrego exploded a motor early in the second Sportsman main event and the early exit will hurt him in the points. The same can be said for Mike Deyo as he was an early retiree only to come back three laps down in an attempt to salvage a couple of spots heading into the final two weeks of the point battles. Deyo will lose the points lead with his poor finish. Wayne Devantoy has made vast strides since he began racing at the speedway a month ago. The former Mathews car found Devantoy among the leaders early in the race only to encounter some problems slowing his pace and resulting in a 14th place finish. &#8220;The Showstopper&#8221; Nick Plumstead exploded a motor on the front stretch in his heat event. Dave Brown had the second Sykes mount at the speedway and drove to an 8th place finish in his first ride at the facility. </span></div>
<div><span style="font-family: Arial;">The excellent Concession stand at the speedway continues to knock out some great vittles for the fans as the now famous real-deal Mac and Cheese was back on the menu and a spicy side light to the offering was an added helping of Chili to make Spicy Cheesey Mac and Beef. The tantalizing dish was a quick sell out as was the limited edition pulled pork sandwich. </span><span style="font-family: Arial;">Philly Cheese Fries and the Fluffer&#8217;Nutter Milk Shakes added to the creativity of the Accord Chefs.</span></div>
<div><span style="font-family: Arial;">A super amount of interest is already in place for the upcoming King of the Catskills weekend at the speedway. With big dollars in place, a banner field for all divisions is anticipated and all indications for the finest racing event in the history of the speedway loom ahead. More information will be released in the upcoming weeks and updated points will be readied as quickly as possible.</span></div>
